Why Bloomwell exists
We wanted to do things differently. Bloomwell was created because we believe people deserve more than a roof over their heads.
Having worked within supported housing, we’ve seen how easily people can become lost between services, repeatedly asked to explain their circumstances or left feeling that decisions about their future are being made without them.
We wanted to create something different. Somewhere people feel listened to, respected and genuinely supported. Somewhere independence is encouraged and people are given opportunities to grow.
We don’t believe supported accommodation should be somewhere people become stuck. It should be a stepping stone towards greater independence and a better future.
That’s why we created Bloomwell.

Everyone’s journey is different.
We support adults experiencing multiple disadvantage, including people who have experienced homelessness, mental health difficulties, substance use challenges, involvement with the criminal justice system or other barriers to stable housing.
We understand that life isn’t always straightforward and that people can face several challenges at once.
At Bloomwell, we don’t judge people by their past. We focus on understanding their needs, recognising their strengths and supporting them towards a better future.
Every placement starts with an individual assessment, so we can be sure we can safely and appropriately meet each person’s needs.
